Tiny but Mighty

Someone posted a link to a list of ways not to annoy people on Facebook. One of them was to not post about your kids all the time. So, sorry, everyone. I actually do try to hold back.

Well, here is another post of Ollie.

We had our four month checkup Monday. He grew in percentile. He is now 37% in height and weight and 57% in head. Here is a picture of Oliver and his cousin. To be technical, first cousin once removed (I had to look that up).

Cousins, identical cousins.

He is two and a half weeks older than her but you can not tell just by looking at them. He is so little! This is me being super vulnerable, but it is really hard not to compare your baby to other babies, especially when other babies are in the 90th percentile. Of course, the doctor says he is perfectly healthy. Percentiles aren't grades. He is insanely strong for his age, he is so curious, and he is such a content, happy baby.

I have debated taking the above paragraph out... you know to avoid unsolicited advice.

munch mitt
I ordered Oliver this teething mitten.Ollie uses it some to chew on. The verdict is still up as to whether or not he likes it, as I have put it on his hand at least five times since we received it this afternoon. One of his favorite games is me pretending to chew on his fingers and then him gumming mine.
